I grew up in the country — a music and drama geek with big curly hair, strong beliefs, and a deep sense that she was always meant for something different. Always the emotional one. Always the resilient one. Always coming back. I went to acting school, got a Bachelor of Performance, then fell into travel sales, then into recruitment and talent acquisition, where I spent 6+ years building hiring functions, designing interview processes, and conducting 1,000+ interviews.

I cracked the job search system from the inside. I was always headhunted, never had to apply, and was constantly being offered salaries $50k above what I was on. Then — one morning before I'd even finished my coffee — I was made redundant. World crumbled.

When I shared my redundancy story on LinkedIn, it went viral — 70+ job opportunities came flooding in within days. I went to 30 meetings, interviewed for a handful, and was offered every single role I actually wanted. Three offers. I turned them all down.

I sat on the floor of my lounge room, looked at the multiple job offers in front of me, and thought: "Can I teach others how to crack the system?" One month later, I had 10,000 followers across multiple platforms. I took on 4 hospitality jobs to pay the bills — waitressing until midnight, catching 3 buses to get there — and built Chloe Careers at the same time.

Today I lead a global community of 80,000+ and have partnered with SEEK, Glassdoor and LinkedIn. I've been to New York twice — once alone on a business visa to pitch Chloe AI, once to build it — and I've come back from more setbacks than I can count. Every single one made me better at what I do.
